Leather Men's Brotherhood / Lambda Men's Brotherhood, Inc. was created in 2009 with the mission of "Creating Community Partnerships Through Education and Philanthropy".

It is recognized by the IRS as a "501 (c) 3" tax exempt charitable organization and licensed as a fundraising organization by the State of Florida.

LMB Inc acquired The Leather Masked Ball ® in 2009 and is committed to producing The Ball and building upon the tradition of supporting the community established by Eric and Ira.

In addition to The Leather Masked Ball ®, LMB Inc raises money through events like Pool Parties, the annual Live Leather Auction and other community building activities. Corporate sponsorship and individual contributions are also important.

LMB Inc in an all volunteer organization. It has no paid staff and almost no overhead.

Office space and services, accounting, and other costs are borne by individual board members and donors. Almost all advertising is traded for sponsorship and the organization solicits in-kind contributions to keep operating costs low and philanthropic impact high.

Beneficiaries throughout the years have included Care Resources, Stonewall Library, Tuesday’s Angels, Equality Florida, and the "Young Gay Meth Free" program at GLCC/Pride Center.

This year a $10,000 seed-money grant from LMB will create a Teen Suicide Prevention Program at Broward House, a well respected social service agency.

Every year we give a sustaining gift to THE LEATHER ARCHIVE AND MUSEUM to support their mission preserving our culture and heritage.

These grants will bring to more than $110,000 the total donated to community non-profits by the all-volunteer teams that have run The Leather Masked Ball ® since 2006.
