Leather Men's Brotherhood

Leather Men's Brotherhood / Lambda Men's Brotherhood, Inc. was created in 2009 with the mission of "Creating Community Partnerships Through Education and Philanthropy".

LMB Inc acquired The Leather Masked Ball ® in 2009 and is committed to producing The Ball and building upon the tradition of supporting the community established by Eric and Ira.

In addition to The Leather Masked Ball ®, LMB Inc raises money through events like Pool Parties, the annual Live Leather Auction and other community building activities. Corporate sponsorship and individual contributions are also important.

LMB Inc in an all volunteer organization. It has no paid staff and almost no overhead.

Office space and services, accounting, and other costs are borne by individual board members and donors. Almost all advertising is traded for sponsorship and the organization solicits in-kind contributions to keep operating costs low and philanthropic impact high.

Beneficiaries throughout the years have included Care Resources, Stonewall Library, Tuesday’s Angels, Equality Florida, the "Young Gay Meth Free" program at GLCC/Pride Center, Broward House Teen Suicude Prevention Program, Pridelines Youth Services and The SmartRide.

Every year we give a sustaining gift to The Leather Archive and Museum to support their mission preserving our culture and heritage.

These grants total more than $140,000 donated to local and national community non-profits by The Leather Masked Ball ®, all-colunteer since its' inception in 2006.
